Inaugural Awards for Tech and Innovation
Mythos AI, a technology company with presence on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and pioneering autonomous vessel systems, was recognized by the Mississippi SBDC Network as its Blue Economy Company of the Year. Through its advancements in the emerging blue economy sector and its collaboration with the RISE Center at Ole Miss, Mythos AI is helping strengthen Mississippi’s maritime technology ecosystem and expand innovation capacity along the Gulf Coast. The company’s partnership with MSBDCN reflects a shared commitment to advancing cutting-edge technologies that drive economic resilience and support the continued growth of Mississippi’s innovation economy.
Mississippi SBDC Network Partners for the
Capitalize Conference
The Capitalize Conference returned on October 15, 2025, at the Biloxi Civic Center as an all-day, no-cost event designed to help business owners access capital and grow their companies. Presented in partnership with Hancock Whitney, the Legacy Business League, and the Mississippi SBDC Network, the conference featured discussions with area lenders and financing experts, panels on traditional and non-traditional funding, business credit education, and opportunities to connect directly with banks, SBA representatives, community lenders, and support organizations. The event provided practical insights on where to find capital, how to qualify for financing, and how to build successful growth strategies for Mississippi entrepreneurs.
DISTRICT 4 RESULTS
In 2025, the Mississippi SBDC Network delivered Digital Marketing Bootcamp 2.0 programming in Congressional District 4, reaching 82 entrepreneurs through in-person training. Funded through the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Portable Assistance Grant, the program provided small businesses with hands-on digital marketing education tailored to today’s evolving economic landscape.
Digital Marketing Bootcamp 2.0 programming was hosted in Gulfport with the help of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce. Gulf Coast entrepreneurs were trained with modern digital marketing strategies designed to improve online visibility, customer engagement, and overall competitiveness.
Following the completion of the Digital Marketing Bootcamp 2.0 series, participating businesses had the opportunity to engage in one-on-one counseling services with the Mississippi SBDC Network to further apply digital marketing strategies and support sustained business growth.

V2 Forensics, a Mississippi-based innovator in drone forensics and data extraction, was recognized by the Mississippi SBDC Network as its Drone Technology Company of the Year. The company is advancing critical capabilities in unmanned systems forensics and strengthening Mississippi’s position in the rapidly growing drone technology sector. Through its collaboration with the RISE Center at Ole Miss, V2 Forensics continues to support innovation, resilience, and technology-driven economic growth across the state.
