MSBDCN Honors Medina Doyle Technologies as “Essential Infrastructure Innovator of the Year”
The Mississippi Small Business Development Center Network has recognized Medina Doyle Technologies, a Vicksburg-based leader in water treatment and infrastructure innovation, as its Essential Infrastructure Innovator of the Year. The award highlights Mississippi companies developing mission-critical technologies that strengthen statewide resilience and contribute to long-term economic growth. Medina Doyle Technologies was selected for its groundbreaking work in advanced water treatment systems, its role in supporting Mississippi’s innovation economy, and its strong engagement with MSBDCN programs designed to help high-growth firms scale.
Chip Templeton, Center Director of the RISE Center at Ole Miss, commended the company’s impact, noting that Medina Doyle Technologies represents “the type of innovation-driven company the RISE Center is committed to supporting,” and emphasized that their advancements in water infrastructure technology “significantly enhance Mississippi’s resilience and competitiveness.” Sharon Nichols, State Director of the Mississippi SBDC Network, highlighted the company’s contributions to communities across the state, stating that the award reflects “both the strength of Medina Doyle Technologies and the momentum of Mississippi’s growing innovation ecosystem.”
A recognition ceremony was held at MCity in Vicksburg, bringing together company leadership, MSBDCN representatives, and regional partners to celebrate the firm’s achievements and its role in advancing Mississippi’s infrastructure technology sector.
